At S.C. Ballard, we know that our drivers do more than just drive trucks. Our drivers safely operate all equipment, monitor product integrity and strengthen supply chains. We also know that every driver has to be the face of your delivery and we take that responsibility seriously.

As part of our rigorous “Ballard U” training program, we focus on providing our drivers the tools they need to build lasting relationships and make safe, responsible decisions. Our Ballard U training program focuses on the procedures that enable us to achieve optimal safety and on-time delivery goals, all the time.   We provide hands-on training, drive-alongs and regular safety meetings with equipment specific education and mentoring.  Our training doesn’t stop with our drivers though, every employee goes through detailed training – ensuring that we are a partner you want to do business with.
